In conclusion, the Canon EOS 7D performs very well in terms of features and yields excellent image quality. Using a tripod will produce very sharp images. And the IS on the kit lens did a great job when shooting hand-held. And I am just shooting straight JPEGs. The 7D feels solidly built. The new auto-focus system on the 7D performed flawlessly. Coming from the Canon EOS Rebel T1i, I find the menu and function on the 7D easy to use. On a scale of 1 to 5, I give the 7D a 7 (pun intended) for performing beyond my expectation. The Canon 7D makes me feel like a pro.
